Director, Emergency Rental Assistance Program
The Director, Program position is responsible for providing the overall supervision of Grant Specialists, Client Response Team, Payment Specialist Team, Eligibility Specialists, and Data Specialist in supporting the Houston-Harris County Emergency Rental Assistance and other Department Programs. This position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of programmatic operational functioning of the specialized teams and works closely with the Program Partners, Vice President, Chief Program Officer, and Finance. The Director, Program is responsible for providing performance reports for the Houston-Harris County Emergency Rental Assistance Program as required by Senior Management and funders. The Director, Program will provide supervision to the Grant Specialist Team, Client Response Team, Payment Specialist Team, Eligibility Specialist Team, and Data Specialist. The successful candidate will perform these duties in a satisfactory manner and in accordance with Catholic Charities’ policies, procedures, and core values.
This position is grant funded; continuation is contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued grant funding.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or another relevant field
- Or you have four (4) years of experience in social services in lieu of education
- You have one (1) year of experience in a leadership role

What you Deliver
- You will coordinate and supervises day-to-day program operations as required by program guidelines and funder requirements.
- You will provide leadership and oversight of all project team leads.
- You will assist Team Leads with coordination of the day-to-day operations of the agency’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program data requirements, client inquiries, and leads program inquiries resolution.
- You will attend internal and external meetings related to program supervision and management.
- You will ensures the preparation of data reports for various internal and external stakeholders. This includes reports regarding program and organizational outcomes, client demographics, and ad hoc reports that impact the daily program operations.
- You will participate in program funder and administrator meetings to provide programmatic updates, as required by funders and program requirements.
- You will supervise the implementation of program procedures under the leadership of Program Administration.
- You will support the development of process improvements and program enhancements, as necessary.
- You will collaborate with other agency programs to further enhance internal and external referrals, as necessary.
- You may participate in program outreach events, as necessary.
- You will ensure the program operates at the appropriate and specified financial performance margin.
- You will ensure staff is trained and program is operated in compliance with funder guidance and uniform guidance including 2 CFR 200.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
