  • Provide direct client services of psychotherapy/counseling and clinical case management sessions according to the schedule detailed in the Human Resources Manual to clients, families and significant others who have presented for services within the guidelines set forth for the program.
  • Conduct screening and psychosocial intake and assessments including a diagnosis according to the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a diagnostic summary, treatment/service recommendations, referrals and preliminary discharge plans.
  • Conduct treatment/service/wellness planning with the participation of the client. Provide psychotherapy and counseling to achieve the objectives and goals in the treatment plan using generally recognized psychotherapy models and theories.
  • Oversee volunteers and student interns at housing complex (meals, activities, community service, etc.).
  • Assess the client’s medical and psychosocial history and current service level needs; regularly update a clinical treatment/service/wellness plan based upon the client’s needs and choices.
  • Verify client eligibility for program services and ensure compliance with funding sources. Compile or delegate and supervise funding source reports.
  • Monitor SPRY social, educational, recreational activities and programming organized by staff at the main campus, and in the field. 


Requirements: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Graduation from an accredited graduate program in Social Work, Psychology, Educational Psychology, or equivalent degree that provides the capacity for the employee to be licensed as an LMSW. Three (3) years’ experience in senior services with at least one (1) year of that experience being in adult psychotherapy for which an internship or field placement may be considered.
